Executive Summary
Caitlin Ledrew is a partner specializing in the area of family law.
Caitlin assists clients in all family law matters, including those involving relationship and family planning (cohabitation and prenuptial agreements, and adoptions) and relationship and family breakdown (common law separation and divorce, separation agreements, parenting, child and spousal support, family property division, and restraining/protection orders).
Divorces and separations involving complex property and financial issues is a specific area of interest for Caitlin. This includes property matters that involve businesses, farms, corporate reorganizations, or complex tax implications, and support matters where one or both parties derive income from privately-held corporations or multiple sources outside traditional employment.
Caitlin strives to achieve resolution for her clients’ disputes outside the Court process and understands the importance of engaging in alternative dispute resolution when appropriate, including negotiation, mediation, collaborative law, and arbitration.
When a negotiated resolution is not possible, Caitlin is an experienced litigator and advocate, and prepared to resolve her clients’ legal issues through the Court process.
